Wow so much rain!!

We've had so much rain here, it's crazy.  All I know is my tomatoes and squash better be out of this world tasty.  Here's something funny and please laugh because I did.  That plant I thought was garlic, turned out to be onions.  See I thought they were garlic, because where I planted them these things started sprouting up.  I just want to know what in the heck happened to my garlic that I planted?  Oh well. :(  That's a newbie for ya.

Here's a pic of what I thought was garlic.

Okay so I gave up on this

This was so beautiful then the sun (okay I did it) destroyed it.  I forgot to water the poor thing and I killed it. :(  It was African Daisies.  Not anymore though, now it's crumbling dust between my fingers. I'm leaving it for a few more days, hoping maybe just maybe I didn't kill it all the way.

I have know idea what to do

Okay so I have no idea on the garlic.  Do I pick it now or wait some more?  All I can do is look at it and shrug my shoulders.  I absolutely don't know.  This garlic you can't see if it's ready and I'm to scared to pick it.  :( Last year I tried the onions to soon and I ruined them.  I don't want to make the same mistake as that.  Here's my garlic.  What do you think, time to pick or leave in?

I've got pics of my garden

My garden is taking off! I'm so excited.  Last year just two tomato plants made it.  Now almost all of my tomato plants are thriving, my squash is taking over the one section and my cantelope and garlic are doing great! So things I've learned from then and now. When plants look droopy water them.  Yea last year I didn't think to water them as often as I should have.  So I think that might be a reason it's thriving.  ^_^ So yea for water. :P

So I went outside and saw the flowers growing down the sink hole.  It is absolutely beautiful.

So we have a house out in the country! Now What?

Well if you've been following me on my blog http://sarahmeadows.blogspot.com/ You know who I am. If not well you soon will find out. So last yr we moved out into the country. I mean way out, I think the population here is a little over 300. The town is so small you blink and it's gone. Anyway, we are out here on almost 2 acres of land in a pretty nice house. Heck I think it's perfect compared to living in the tiny one bedroom apartment we were living in. Three people and a dog in that place wasn't cutting it anymore. So God opened the door to get us in here. Yeah!! So I'm still getting use to living out here. I tend to get sleepy sooner, the views are gorgeous and the neighbors well of what we do have are sweet and keep to themselves. When you need something though they're right there to lend a hand. I tried my hand at gardening last yr and not much came of it. I did have two tomato plants last and I got some yummy Cherry Maters from them, but everything else went down hill. This year though my plants are taking off. I hope I actually get them to adult and fruitation stage. We'll see. I've got pictures which I'll post over a few blogs. First I want to show you this view.
